WhatsApp to soon allow users to schedule calls in group chats where interested participants will be notified 15 minutes prior. The user who schedules the call needs to add a subject and specify a date for the call

WhatsApp is likely to introduce passkey support for Android users for account verification. The Passkey will use your fingerprint, face, or screen lock to verify your identity and to add an extra layer of security

Unlike WhatsApp voice conference calls, users will be able to join or leave the Voice Chat as they please. It has a maximum duration of 60 minutes. Moreover, the voice chats won't trigger a ringtone

WhatsApp iOS beta users can get access to the new animated avatar by opening the keyboard and tapping on avatar icon alongside sticker, GIFs and emojis icons. They can share animated avatars with anyone, irrespective of whether the recipient is using the beta version

This WhatsApp feature will allow users to add participants to new groups right within the group chat. Up till now, users had to go to group info and then add a participant. This feature will show a banner in group chats to add new participants
